The Curious Incident of The Dog in The Night-Time - children's book review by Sarp.
eduKidz: In a change from our more recent book reviews, we today enjoy a review of a young adult's book from Sarp. This book from Mark Haddon is a fascinating insight into the world of a young boy living on the autistic spectrum. I absolutely loved this book which I first read when I was a young adult.

The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time
The book itself is wonderful, by far my favourite. The book is written in a special way which just sucks the reader into the book and doesn’t let go. The story is actually quite sad. One of the best things about it is that it’s quite lifelike.
The book has so many messages in it which just make the book even more amazing. It tells the story so uniquely that it almost warms your heart. At times it’s scary even nerve racking. Once you get into the book it just is so emotional in so many wonderful and scary ways.
Christopher Francis Boone is a 14 year old boy with Asperger’s syndrome. Christopher can’t tell lies as he doesn’t understand them. This book tells Christopher’s murder story but so many more mysteries open up that he can’t even trust his own father. Christopher doesn’t like strangers, the colours yellow and brown or being touched. He does know things that nobody else would normally know like, all the countries in the world and their capitals and every prime number up to 7507. His neighbour's dog’s death changes his whole world as it reveals the truth deep down that nobody but his parents know.
As you see even from my text it just sounds like its a must-read book for young adults, which it is.
eduKidz: What an insightful and wonderful review Sarp. It's clear that you not only enjoyed but really understood this book. The great thing about this review is that it should inspire a lot of adults to read the book too, they would enjoy it just as much I'm sure. If you ever get the chance I would highly recommend that you try and see the stage show version, it is magnificent. Thank you so much for your brilliant review Sarp, I look forward to your next one!
